MCS – clamping system

MCS developed by the Czech company TFA Ltd is meant for CNC, NC vertical or horizontal machining centers. Own structural design of MCS is based on acceptance of philosophy perception of given clamp as a universal device. The Objective of the technical solution is to achieve universality of components, out of which is the each single assembly composed. Structural design of each component must fulfil condition of its repetitive applicability.

Owing to this system is possible to clamp into the machine working space more parts at once, which results in reduction of incidental times and allows machining of multiple sides of part without the necessity of its changeover. The result is in speeding up of own production.

Rich MCS variability for CNC machining centers together with the system of palletization comprehensively solves clamping of parts into the machine. Reduction of clamping times takes effect mainly on milling machines, where the time requirements in comparison with the time of machining subsequently making significant ratio.

MCS finds its purpose in serial or single-part production, for small or big companies. Multiple utilization of single components of MCS significantly reduces cost of additional clamping devices in case, that purchase of more than one clamping tower is being presumed. Conception of the system universality is in area of usage of individual tooling machines, it means that there is a possibility to changeover to a different tooling machine without the necessity of big interventions into the assembly of the clampingtower.

Universality also counts with possibility of system conversion on the existing machine, eventually on another machine of the same size. Such a system conversion might be essential with a change of the work piece, which evokes sizing of basic dimensions of clamping. With higher amount of purchased components is increasing count of combinations including multiple of existing system utilization. In such a case is efficiency rising with linear curve.

MCS is fitted out of mounting base plate and optional side plates (A, B, AR, BR), firmly connected to each other, thus creating compact clamping tower.

Towers might be fitted in wide dimensional spectrum, with regards to mounting base plate and run-up of machine.

Unlimited combination of side plates enabling forming of towers into the square or rectangular layouts, but also to angled or irregular forms.

For a special applications a circular mounting base plates will find its utilization.

The products fulfil the highest requirements and supplier further offers:

  • Minimization of cost for technical preparation of production.
  • High stiffness.
  • Long service life - repetitive utilization.
  • Immediate reaction on requirements to ensure the order production.
  • Fast mounting of clamping device, fast reaction on date of settlement.
  • Possibility of individual solution of clamping directly to the machine according to own requirements.
  • MCS helps to solve cost optimization in the short time period.
